Library Program

The Lib4U program is designed to create an electronic library and electronic catalog for use by readers on the Internet, to register materials such as books, periodicals, academic works, audio videos, and other materials in the library. Also to automate library services and inventory operations with the help of barcodes, and other library-related activities. It will supply with various comprehensive library related reports and statistical information.

It can be used on any web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, ...) regardless of operating system (Windows, iOS, Android, ...) on smart devices such as computers, tablets, mobile phones, etc.
The library's electronic catalog and electronic materials are automatically uploaded on the Internet, so users can access them from anywhere.
Has a complete bar code system. It will print reader barcode IDs, material barcodes, forms, etc., allowing for service, inventory and reporting.
Book catalog descriptions can be easily copied from local libraries using the app and downloaded from foreign registries by ISBN. Information is exchanged in the modern JSON format and is compatible with UNIMARC and MARC21 standards of international libraries.
The program environment and instructions for use are in Mongolian, and any language can be used for data entry.
The application transmits data over a completely secure line (HTTPS), with access rights regulated and password protected.
Because it is based on modern cloud technology, all information of the library is located in data centers with reliable and uninterrupted operation, so information security is fully ensured.
The electronic catalog environment isavailable in multiple languages.
Books, periodicals, academic works, audio-videos, and others in the library's collection can all be registered.
The integrated register (report of added and removed materials) and daily register (service report) necessary for improving the management of the library are issued in accordance with the procedure approved by the Minister of Education and Culture No. 441 dated 30.12.2005. In addition, additional reports, charts, and various lists are generated automatically, which can be exported as files in PDF, PNG(Image), XML(Excel) formats, as well as can be copied and imported into other applications such as Word.
Suitable for libraries that use any library class, including "DDC", "ББК", "УДК".
It can be operated in any library with an “Open” or traditional system of library services.
If a reader wishes to view a record of the materials they are using or extend the due date for return, they can send a request through the electronic catalog and the librarian can respond to it from within the program.
Any changes made to the library registry are automatically logged and saved as history. From this history, you can filter out who, when, on which device, through which browser, and how information was changed.
